For PhD-students and Young Researchers planning to attend the BerlinFOOD2010 PhD conference:

Contributions to the following topics are welcome:

• Food safety
• Health, quality and nutrition
• Food processing and storage
• Emerging technologies
• Mathematical modelling

When you apply for the PhD conference you should include an abstract describing key aspects of your research.
Based on incoming abstracts a number of PhD students or Young Researchers will be asked to give a 20 minute plenary oral presentation.
You should also be prepared to make a very short (approximately 3 minutes) oral presentation of your poster for the poster award competition.

Please note that a space of 80cm height and 60 cm width (DIN A1) will be provided for each poster. Please ensure that your poster does not exceed this size!

We would like to encourage you to submit an abstract for a poster presenting your company including current research topics and applications.
